There is something special about planning a wedding for high school sweethearts. Having spent half their lives together already, Adam & Danielle were able to fill the Hall of Springs with personal details chronicling their life together as they prepared to embark on the next chapter. Their day was a perfect mix of everything you could want from a wedding–romantic, visually stunning, and endlessly entertaining.
Once we arrived at the Hall of Springs, it was clear the spring weather was on our side. The Hall’s iconic white pillars and reflecting pool served as the perfect backdrop for some quick family shots before a private vow reading.
Cello covers of the couple’s favorite songs echoed inside the Hall as guests were welcomed into the ceremony space. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour by the Jazz Bar before being welcomed back inside the ballroom for dinner. The ballroom at the Hall of Springs is one of those magical spaces that speaks for itself. All it needed was a few finishing touches to bring out that romantic, cozy feeling inside the grand space.
After a first dance to Ben Folds’ ‘The Luckiest’ and some heartfelt toasts, guests enjoyed dinner with a special sweet treat. Fluffy vanilla marshmallows (the bride’s favorite!) sealed with the couple’s custom logo adorned every place setting.
From the beginning, Adam & Danielle’s positive energy spilled into every facet of their celebration. I knew it was going to be incredible, but even I didn’t expect it to be as flawless as it was! This wedding still holds such an important and special place in my heart and I will always be grateful for the opportunity to be a part of their day!
Before gathering at the Hall of Springs, Adam & Danielle started their day at the Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs. The Adelphi is a testament to contemporary elegance and Adam & Danielle’s extraordinary photographer, Katia Popik, was truly on a mission to take advantage of all the Adelphi had to offer. Adam & Danielle’s first look on a balcony overlooking Broadway are some of my all time favorite photos.
Throughout the planning process, Danielle and Adam would often say they just couldn't wait to just party with their friends, and party they did! The good vibes quickly got started with some traditional Polish polka before shifting into what was truly a 'best-of' mid-aughts party jams.
